An independent, decentralized community of people developing open-source technological solutions to positively impact their communities.
📌 What is Singularity Club?
Singularity is an interdisciplinary collective with no institutional or governmental affiliation, focused on developing technological, scientific, and social projects with local impact. Our mission is to foster community-driven innovation through open science, free technological transfer, and self-directed learning.
We operate under a collaborative, scalable, and decentralized model: each local node identifies challenges and opportunities in its environment, developing projects or activities aligned with our principles.

🔧 Community Structure
Our activities are organized into five main areas:
1. Social
- Gatherings and events among members.
- Support, charity, and volunteer activities.
2. Innovation and Technology
- Development of high-impact projects for open technological transfer.
- Participation in hackathons such as NASA Space Apps.
- Publication of developments on open platforms.
3. Economic
- Organization of courses, workshops, and self-funded activities.
- Fundraising for social projects and operations.
4. Outreach
- Creation of content on social media (articles, videos, educational dissemination).
- Admission calls.
5. Internal
- Mentorship, workshops, technical training for members.
- Organization by local nodes with autonomous leadership.
🌐 Expansion and Regional Nodes
Our base is in León, Guanajuato, but we aim to expand using a regional node model.
Members joining from other cities can open their own node to address local challenges. Node leaders are expected to create an annual work plan based on:
- Community impact.
- Organized activities.
- Projects developed or implemented.
👤 Who Can Join?
We welcome people over 18 years old who are committed, socially-minded, and have training or interest in one of the following areas:
- Technology (software, hardware, electronics, AI)
- Administration, finance, or social economy
- Social sciences and humanities
- Communication, design, or digital media
