The Global mailing list is DIYbio.org’s original, general-purpose discussion forum — a home for “everything diybio,” open to anyone to join and post to via Google Groups.
For roughly its first decade it was the community’s primary hub: technique questions, safety discussions, meetup announcements, and debates about the movement’s direction all ran through it, accumulating thousands of messages over the years. Activity has slowed considerably as the community has dispersed to social media and regional/local groups, but the list remains active — questions and check-ins still surface regularly.
